Our Story

Hope Bible Fellowship has served Seattle since 1921. For generations we had a building in Fremont, then moved to Lake City in 2006. The neighborhood became home, and we found ways to serve beyond our walls: making parks safe and fun, basketball camps, conversational English classes, tutoring, food delivery, and partnering with local non-profits. We believe the church plays a vital role in a flourishing community.

 

In recent years, Hope has welcomed many new immigrants from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, alongside young adults, families, and seniors who call Seattle home. Our worship has grown increasingly bilingual in English and Spanish, and our relationships are richer as we navigate communication, immigration, and everyday needs together.

 

We're honored to serve the nations moving into Seattle, and we also support missionaries and ministries in South America, Africa, and on university campuses across the Pacific Northwest.
